The Movie Title Stills Collection

I've talked about my insane love of movie credits before, but I've never thought to document them! Christian Annyas has created the awesome Movie Title Stills Collection documenting movie titles! So smart. Aaaand not to mention über addicting to scroll through.

All images from The Movie Title Stills Collection. Every last one of 'em = not mine. Go there and check out all the rest, this is just a drop in the bucket.

Why We're Here: Twin Cities

Somewhat a rip-off of the 50 People One Question videos that I love, but still, nice to see the Cities represented in such a lovely matter.

Draplin and Burlesque: An Unbeatable Combo

I love me some good 'ol Minnesota pride. These would be fantastic in my mini-home office (to clarify, my house if full sized, it's the office that's mini, my punctuation skills leave much to be desired).

Want it: Tissue Box

I think this would almost make having the sniffles fun... almost.

AIGA: cashing in on my membership

I recently found out that as an AIGA member I get 40% off Rockport books!! So I've been creating a wish list I'm going to splurge on in the near future. Mostly design books, some that just look fun.

Wants vs Needs

I'm not much of a syrup fan, but I appreciate the sentiment.

Holy Frick it's Friday!

This week FLEW by! Seriously, events, meetings or dinners every night (prohibiting the hermit in me to head straight home after work) really makes time move quickly! (That makes me sound much more glamourous than I am. I feel compelled to admit that my events this week were: a potholder exchange, book club, girls night and volunteer meeting).

I'm researching vintage matchbooks for a work project and came upon this video that I'd forgotten about. Watch it. Love it. Wish ya did it.

Want it: Loop wrapping paper

I love wrapping presents! Love! What makes it even better are gorgeous papers! This line from Loop makes me want to go buy gifts right now so I'll have something to wrap! (Think of these with a bright bow! or a crisp white ribbon!)

Bosom Buddies

I admit, I totally rock out to the oldies station when I drive home. I started to do this a few years back to curb my road rage and it totally works! Who can be mad while singing Carly Simon's Your So Vain? (which I endearingly called "the coffee song" when I was little). Today, Billy Joel's song My Life came on and I immediately had the urge to watch Bosom Buddies... or at least the intro.

Tom Hank's best role yet? I think so.

frozen toes and a runny nose

I love winter, don't get me wrong, but I feel as if this one has been particularly harsh. Two blizzards, what feels like daily windshield scraping, my pension for keeping the temp in my condo at 55 and having my boogers freeze while I sleep (too much info? ...nah), has me nostalgic for those sunny spring days.

I am particularly jones'n for my absolute favorite part of summer: farmer's market flowers! They're gorgeous, brilliant and just $5 bucks. Somehow the winter bouquets in the refridgerator section of Target just aren't the same.

So, until spring arrives, I'll just think of this lovely bunch I scored a couple years back!
